A TV and film costume designer will exhibit a range of outfits featured in productions at Fredwell Café & Pâtisserie.

Ffion Elinor, who has been working in costume design for approximately three decades, will showcase a range of pieces used in various TV shows and films throughout her career on July 16 - 17, from 10:00 and 18:00.

After the two-day exhibition, visitors can purchase some of the items on display.

Chris Birch, 37, the owner of Fredwell Café & Pâtisserie, told Cowbridge Nub News: "My business partner, Jak, is an interior designer and does a lot of film and TV work.

"They both got talking one day and he [Jak] suggested for Ffion to do an exhibition or something at Fredwell.

"Originally, it was going to be an auction but she has this plethora of clothing so we thought an exhibition and sale at the end of the weekend would work really well."

Mr Birch continued: "Ffion's also interested in hosting some workshops over the summer and going into autumn for people interested in costume design.

"It will be great to see how the exhibition goes and how much interest it will generate before the workshops start."

Ffion has worked on productions including Scorpion Square (1994), Be Brave (1996), Big Nothing starring David Schwimmer and Simon Pegg (2006), and The Contractor starring Wesley Snipes (2007).

In 2002, Ffion won a BAFTA Cymru for her work on the TV film, Hearts of Gold

The exhibition at Fredwell Café & Pâtisserie is free to attend.
