Two Cowbridge venues will be included in an upcoming festival of coworking taking place later this month.

Y Cwt in Pendoylan and Emporium at Vale Business Park will feature in the festival which runs from June 21-23 and aims to showcase flexible workspaces in locations across the Vale of Glamorgan.

Organised by Cowork Local, the three-day festival will also include a series of lunchtime talks, such as Chloe and Jeff Smith from Big Moose, and Hannah Williams from Tiny Rebel.

Visitors can attend for free and catering will be provided by a variety of local businesses.

Gareth Jones, co-founder and CEO of TownSq which manages Cowork Local, said: "We're so proud to have kicked off Cowork Local with the Festival of Coworking to engage with the small business community in VoG and convey what the project is all about.

"Local enterprise is a key part of the economic landscape here and it's a privilege to be connecting local venues with the thriving business community.

"Our mission is to create more options for people to work flexibly and championing entrepreneurship is at the core of everything we do."

There are 18 venues already up and running in the Vale, ranging from luxury B&Bs and golf clubs to traditional taverns and renovated turkey sheds, and a further ten are due to open in the near future.
