A Polish charity will be collecting donations for Ukraine on Thursday and Friday at Cowbridge Town Hall.

White Eagle Club/Klub Ora Biaego has set up collection points across the UK and is asking for donations specified on a list the charity has posted on their Facebook page.

Welcome donations include toiletries, nappies and first aid supplies. The charity can no longer accept clothing, shoes, blankets, or bedding.

People that would like to donate should drop off items on the water pump side of Town Hall and not by The Horse & Groom Pub.

Donations will be sorted, boxed, and labelled by a team of volunteers and collected on Saturday.

The donation boxes will be driven to Newport to be loaded onto lorries before driving to Poland.

People can make donations on both days from 09:30 – 18:00.
