What's On in Cowbridge this weekend
As more and more events are being organised locally Nub News has launched a new weekly round up of what's on in Cowbridge each weekend.
Every Thursday we now bring you our top picks of the events in our What's On section for the coming weekend.
Events coming up in Cowbridge
Thursday: Cowbridge Art Society Winter Exhibition
Cowbridge Art Society is holding its popular Winter Exhibition at the Old Hall, Cowbridge, running until December 16th. Although an amateur group, there is a high standard of work on display in a wide range of media and of subjects to suit all choices - well worth a visit it you happen to be in the town.
If you do call in and would like to buy one of the pictures, there will be a steward on duty on Saturdays between 10.30 and 3, and on occasional days midweek who will be happy to handle your purchase.
Friday: Christmas Experience at Forage
As evening draws in, an interactive family show hosted by a cheeky Elf will immerse ticket holders in the world of all things Christmassy!
Following the show, attendees can throw a star into the magical wishing well to make their Christmas wishes come true, before selecting a beautiful Christmas decoration to take home and hang on the family tree.
And that's not all…delicious Christmassy treats are sure to get grown-ups and children licking their lips – roasted marshmallows, mulled cider, churros, and savoury delights made using farm fresh ingredients to name just a few!
Visitors can then head to a festive yurt to shop for some amazing presents and gorgeous Christmas decorations (open until 7pm).
Saturday: Open day at Fun Foundations day nursery
Join Fun Foundations day nursery on Saturday for their open day, starting at 11am.
