The winning entries of Cowbridge Chamber of Trade's Jubilee art competition were announced yesterday evening (June 2) at the town's beacon lighting event. 

There are three categories to enter: under 11, under 18 and over 18 and Chi Lee, a member of the Cowbridge Art Society, won first place in the over 18 category.

Artworks were displayed at Sylvia Williams Chemist on Cowbridge High Street in the run-up to the beacon lighting on the field by Cowbridge Athletic Club. 

The winner of each category won a prize of £50.
