Several trees at Llanblethian Orchards were re-staked on Saturday, after storms throughout autumn last year caused them to lean or fall.
Owner and cider-producer Alex Simmons was helped by members of Cardiff CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) to dig up and re-plant the trees.

As of today, all hospital grounds, school grounds, public playgrounds and the outdoor areas of day-care and child-minding settings in Cowbridge and the rest of Wales are required to be smoke-free.
New laws, being introduced across the country today, [1 March] build on the smoking ban introduced in 2007, to protect the public's health, both by aiming to discourage people from starting smoking in the first place and to support those trying to quit.
