Rocket & Rye owner John Cook he's excited to open the doors to Cowbridge residents in the first week of December.
John and his wife Ceri had planned to open at the end of October but the firebreak lockdown meant they were forced to push the date back.

Cowbridge Library is running a December read-along of 'The Snow Child' by Eowyn Ivey.
Ivey's debut novel, 'The Snow Child' is set in the 1920s and follows Jack and Mabel, a childless older coupler struggling as homesteaders in the Alaskan wilderness. The emergence of a young girl from the woods changes their lives.
Christmas is coming, and Cowbridge High Street is looking suitably festive.

Repair Café Wales is holding a public meeting seeking volunteers to set up a Cowbridge branch.
There are currently 30 Repair Cafés in Wales, with the closest to Cowbridge operating in Llantwit Major for the last two years.

A new restaurant, Rocket & Rye, is coming to Cowbridge, located at 30 High Street.
The venue is set to open its doors in the first week of December, owner John Cook told Nub News.
Earlier this year, the Boundary Commission proposed that changes should be made to the way in which the residents of the Vale were represented.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council then requested that, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, the public consultation on the changes should be delayed. The Boundary Commission very reasonably agreed and the public consultation was put on ice until the autumn.
