THE newest arrival to Cowbridge High Street Rocket & Rye announced it will open on Tuesday 8 December.

A new restaurant, Rocket & Rye, is coming to Cowbridge, located at 30 High Street.

The venue is set to open its doors in the first week of December, owner John Cook told Nub News.

Earlier this year, the Boundary Commission proposed that changes should be made to the way in which the residents of the Vale were represented.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council then requested that, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, the public consultation on the changes should be delayed. The Boundary Commission very reasonably agreed and the public consultation was put on ice until the autumn.

We're all hoping to reunite with family and friends this year for a 'normal' Christmas, after missing out on quality time with each other this year.

But one group who have been especially isolated are the elderly, who have gone without visits from their loved ones.
