Following the excitement of the Vale Show last week Cowbridge Country Market is back in the Lesser Hall this Friday (18 August), from 9am to 11.30am.

Award-winning preserves will be among items available as well as a selection of homemade goodies to help entertain summer visitors or to stash in the freezer for later.

As well as freshly-made bread, there will be millionaire's shortbread, brownies, cookies, fruit tarts, cakes and more to choose from.

Garden produce will be plentiful and fresh. Come along and see what the market's skilled gardeners have available to tempt you.

Talented crafters will have their usual repertoire of handmade cards, silver jewellery and sewn items to choose from - treat yourself or find something to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries.

Relax and enjoy coffee and homemade cakes in the tearoom.
