GALLERY: Santa makes special appearance on Cowbridge High Street

Father Christmas, aka Santa, rode through Cowbridge High Street on a Land Rover-drawn sleigh yesterday as part of Cowbridge Rotary Club's annual display of festive fun.

For many years, Cowbridge Rotary has helped Santa Claus on these Christmas visits to the Vale.

Joined by a helping horde of elves from the Club, Santa's stop-off at Cowbridge has looked a little different this year.

But although Santa has not been able to invite people onto his sleigh for photographs and a chat, children have cherished seeing Santa and his elves, giving them a wave and shouting a 'distant' hello.

Here's where you can spot Santa before he heads back to Lapland for some final toy-making preparations.
