The Vale's response to the Ukraine crisis will be discussed at a public meeting on Thursday at the Duke of Wellington in Cowbridge.

Alun Cairns MP has organised the event for the Cowbridge community to discuss the ongoing devastation in Ukraine and the subsequent refugee crisis.

"It will be an opportunity to consider the challenges and risks faced in Ukraine and across Europe, including the UK and NATO response," said Mr Cairns.

"We will also consider how best to support Ukrainian families and I will share the latest information on the proposed methods of helping. Local residents with knowledge of supporting families from war-torn parts of the world will be present to share their experiences.

"I look forward to welcoming as many people as possible, so please share the word with friends and family who may also be interested."

The meeting will take place on March 17 at 19:00.

All residents of the Vale are welcome to attend.

Please confirm your attendance by emailing Alun Cairns at: [email protected]
