A link with the past now hangs in Town Hall

At last week's coffee and drop-in morning at Cowbridge Town Hall Mary Bird presented Cllr John Andrew, the Mayor of Cowbridge (Ancient Borough) with Llanblethian Town Council, with a painting of Cowbridge Mayor's Sunday 1963.

The painting was created by Verley Russell, late of Caxton House, Eastgate, Cowbridge, the aunt of printer Keith Brown.

The painting is now hanging in the Mayor's Parlour in Cowbridge Town Hall.

Mayor at the time was Alderman Edward John JP
