A car has been filmed driving on the wrong side of the A48, on Monday at approximately 12.25pm.

In a video shared to Nub News, a white car can been on the wrong side of the dual carriageway near Cowbridge.

Hugo Billington told Nub News he started to film within in seconds of seeing the car, as he and his father drove towards Bridgend.

"The driver looked like a young girl. The thing that sounds crazy is that she almost looked oblivious," he said.

"You'd want to stop and turn around maybe, but she was in the fast overtaking lane going about 50pmh, while we were doing 70."

Hugo also said he saw several cars and "a massive lorry" driving in the correct direction in the neighbouring lane pass the white car.

Nub News is awaiting comment from South Wales Police based on the new information learnt.
