Thanks have been expressed to Cowbridge ladies who proved themselves to be angels of mercy.

Town resdient Barbara Sinfield has contacte Nub news to explain, saying:"I would really like to express my sincere thanks to the ladies who helped my husband today in Cowbridge., close to the pet charity shop.

"They were unwilling to give their names but one lady was a retired teacher, whilst the other lady was "celebrating" her birthday.

"David is recovering at home, pain free following manipulation of a dislocated shoulder .

"We are truly grateful to these lovely ladies who stayed with him and looked after him so well."
