Cowbridge Male Voice Choir is preparing for its annual concert, which is to be held this month at Cowbridge Leisure Centre.
The choir, which has appeared on GMTV, Good Morning Britain and BBC Wales, are thrilled to be performing locally.
During the pandemic the choristers have rehearsed on Zoom and then at Forage Farm when restrictions eased to allow outdoor meet-ups.
"We've been very fortunate during the pandemic to keep everybody together," said John Williams, the choir's secretary.
"Rehearsing on Zoom is not the most practical, but when that's the only thing you've got, then it's terrific.
"We've got about 70 choristers in total, we were regularly getting 50 on Zoom, which is fantastic."
The choir, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, is holding its annual concert at the leisure centre on Saturday 23 October.
"The leisure centre has been ever so good. We've done a risk assessment with them, and they've been very supportive and accomodating," said John.
"We're thrilled – to perform again will be a real treat."
The choir will be joined by Cowbridge Comprehensive School's jazz band as well as their senior choir. In addition, virtuoso organist Scott Williams will also be performing.
Though the choir will be singing in front of a slightly reduced number compared to its previous annual concerts, it is still set to be an evening to remember.
"This is our first major concert back since restrictions were relaxed," said John.
"Due to our risk assessment, we've set the capacity at 300. But it will still be a superb occasion and we're looking forward to filling all those seats.
"We're just trying to keep this as a real community event to give back to those that have supported us."
