On Thursday 16th Sept. 2021 the Mayor of Cowbridge with Llanblethian Cllr Siân Vaughan attended with her consort Mr Rob Vaughan an RAF event to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain at Cardiff City Hall.

It is now of course 81 years as this event could not take place in 2020.

The event saw the official opening of a major historical exhibition on 'Wales and the Battle of Britain' and included a ceremonial parade by RAF no.4 School of Technical Training MOD St Athan.

The exhibition will now go on tour in Wales. The event concluded with a Flypast by the Red Arrows.
