Cowbridge projects that aim to boost biodiversity are welcome to apply for grants worth up to £5,000.

Grants are available from the Vale Local Nature Partnership (LNP) to purchase materials and equipment to help support nature wildlife project work in the Vale.

If an application is successful, a grant will not be distributed as cash - all materials and equipment will be purchased on the applicant's behalf.

Vale council has created a portfolio of supporting documents which include an example application form, survey guides, project ideas and a suggested supplier list.

Applications must be sent by Friday, August 19. Each application will be reviewed by members of Vale's LNP Steering Group.

Click here to view the supporting documents and download an application form.
