Where does Cowbridge rank in the UK's nicest places to live?

Property consultant Garrington have published a list ranking 1,372 cities, towns and villages in the UK based on how nice they could be to live in following the Coronavirus pandemic.

Each area has been ranked based on factors including their natural beauty, quality of life and architectural beauty.

Hare & Hounds Bakery nears completion

There's no doubting that the pandemic has put a strain on local businesses, so seeing something new is an exciting prospect

One of the latest additions to Cowbridge town centre will be the Hare & Hounds Bakery, which looks set to open its doors in early March.

Co-owner Sarah Watts-Jones says the team is looking at an opening date of 10 March for takeaway coffees, sandwiches, pastries and bread.

Survey shows majority unhappy with supermarket planned at old cattle market

A survey has revealed a majority of participants are not in agreement with the current proposal to build a supermarket on the former cattle market site at The Butts.

The survey had 700 responses, of which 93% (651 votes) said "no" to the question 'are you happy with the plans to build a new supermarket on the old cattle market site?'
