Cowbridge Farm Shop remain positive after Environmental Health stop animal interactions
Following a visit from Environmental Health, Cowbridge Farm Shop is no longer allowed to let customers interact with its animals.
The shop was letting customers interact with lambs as they came to collect food orders.
Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, has died
Yesterday Buckingham Palace announced the death of Prince Philip.
One of Prince Philip's greatest legacies the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme which was founded in 1956 and has been patroned the Duke since - making a huge difference to many generations of Cowbridge children. Ian Jones, an assessor for the Duke of Edinburgh Award in the Vale of Glamorgan, spoke of the impact of Prince Philip's programme. "I think he's going to leave a legacy that helps develop teamwork and leadership amongst impressionable teenagers, right the way through to young adults," Ian told Nub News. High Street retailers excited to be back open
Non-essential high street traders from across the Vale of Glamorgan have expressed how excited they are to reopen their shops from Monday 12th April.
With Covid-19 having had a huge impact on our local High Streets over the course of the last year, shops in Cowbridge, Penarth, Llantwit Major and Barry will be looking forward to welcome customers, old and new, through their doors for the first time in months.
