Community is one of the core values of Nub News - it's at the heart of everything we do. That's why we're supporting local businesses and promoting the 'shop local' message in the run up to Christmas.

Local retailers are keen to encourage customers back to the high street during what is normally one of the busiest periods of the year.

To help traders get back on their feet, Cowbridge Nub News has launched a virtual Christmas market - a place where local traders can share details of their festive stock, menus, special offers and deals, opening times, etc.

Jewel Glass by Frances Lloyd

Fused glass artist Frances Lloyd offers beautiful, handmade glass artworks, jewellery, gifts and tableware.

Some Jewel Glass products can be bought straight from the shop and will be despatched within three days of payment being received. Larger pieces such glass curves and waves are made to order, which can take anything up to a week.

Visit Frances' online shop on Folksy and check out her work on Instagram
