Fun Foundations Day Nursery in Cowbridge is inviting the local community to its new summer event to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Fun Fest-dations will be a mini-festival event on Saturday, July 9 at the nursery site on North Road.

Starting at 13:00, guests can expect an array of child-friendly activities including face painting, lucky dip, tombola, arts and crafts, and hook a duck.

Live music will be provided by The KC Band and guests can have their pictures taken in the Fun Foundations photo booth.

Amy Ferguson, director at Fun Foundations Day Nursery, said: "Unfortunately, it seems we all know someone who has been affected by the horrible disease and the Fun Foundations family is no different.

"We have team members here who are currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer, and this is our way of thanking Macmillan for the amazing work they do to support amazing people like ours."

Festival-goers can enjoy delicious BBQ food from Hare and Hounds Bakery as well as sweet treats from Miss Havisham's Cakes and Burnt Island Occasions sweet stall.

Tickets to the event are £5 per person which can be purchased at the gate, with all proceeds being donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.

To purchase tickets in advance, visit the Fun Foundations Day Nursery in Cowbridge or simply pop along on the day.
