Check out this week's list of Cowbridge planning applications either recently received, decided on or awaiting decision by the Vale of Glamorgan Council.       

Town Hall, Cowbridge With Llanblethian Town Council, 21, High Street, Cowbridge 

Discharge of Condition 3 (Details / Additional Details - slate). Planning permission 2021/01779/LBC - Replacement of the Mayor's parlour roof and lesser hall roof with Spanish slate. Validated: 28/07/2022. Status: Approved.       

Whips Bungalow, Llandough, Cowbridge    

Proposed remodelling of Whips Bungalow, to include additional first-floor accommodation. Validated: 25/07/2022. Status: Delegated.        

Filco, 2, High Street, Cowbridge       

Proposed ground floor extension to the Filco Foodstore at 2 High Street and Proposed conversion and extension of redundant 1st floor retail storage space into office accommodation at 4 High Street. Validated: 20/07/2022. Status: Awaiting decision.         

81, High Street, Cowbridge         

The construction of a new stone plinth wall with stone capping and new wrought iron railings, installation of new external light fittings, brass plaques, removal of existing retractable canopies and general re-decoration of external elements such as windows, render and external joinery. Validated: 12/07/2022. Status: Delegated.

External and internal works to east elevation to include a new doorway to replace existing store room window and removal of associated internal partition door, removal of existing UPVC rainwater goods to be replaced with black aluminium, existing cement pebbledash render to be removed and replaced. Validated: 01/07/2022. Status: Awaiting decision.

Tyn Y Cae, Pendoylan, Cowbridge   

Proposed demolition of existing dwelling and stable, construction of replacement dwelling and stable, reinstatement of the garden to agricultural land, and associated works. Validated: 28/06/2022. Status: Delegated.          

45, The Verlands, Cowbridge 

Extending single storey portion of the existing house to two storeys. Adding a small lean-to single-storey extension to the front of the house. Adding two single-storey dual-pitched extensions to the rear of the house. Validated. 22/06/2022. Status: Delegated.
