Cowbridge Rotary will host a doggy show next month, with 12 categories from the fluffiest, to the best crossbreed to the most obedient.

On Sunday 5 September, from 12-5pm, Cowbridge's finest canines will gather at the Playing Fields to compete.

The event is free to attend, and there is a £5 entry fee for competitors, who can enter one category.

"We're all about family fundraising and getting people and their doggies out and about for a show off, and more importantly to raise money for Cowbridge Rotary charities," say Cowbridge Rotary Club.

"This show is for the fluffy, the pretty, the handsome, the legendary veterans and the expert sausage catchers!

"Come along with friends and family, bring blankets, chairs, snacks and remember to scoop your (doggy) poop."

There will be stalls for food, drink, goodies and a pawsome raffle.
