The Vale of Glamorgan Council is asking Llangan residents to fill in a survey and help decide on the best Active Travel Route between the village and the A48.
Plans to improve the route align with the council's Project Zero initiative, whereby their goal is to reduce the council's carbon emissions by 2030 to net-zero and encourage others across the county to do the same.
The survey to determine the best route option is the first stage of a two-stage consultation process. Another consultation for the route's design will follow.
According to the council, options for the Active Travel Route between Cowbridge and Ystradowen will be discussed early this year and the consultation stage is due to end on March 23.
Once a route has been chosen from the survey results and consultation, there are several steps the council needs to consider such as land ownership, engineering, and ecological considerations.
You can view all three proposed route options before completing the survey.
