Ground Bakery is set to open the doors of its third site on Cowbridge High Street in December.

The "Artisanal Boulangerie and Speciality Coffee House" has two sites in Pontcanna and Penarth and will open another site on Cowbridge High Street.

Ground was co-founded by Pembrokeshire born chef and Masterchef contestant Thomas Simmons.

As well as being a bakery and coffee house they also serve breakfasts, brunches and light lunches.

A representative of Ground says:

"We have hand picked some of the UK's very best produce, whether it's our Stoates Organic English flour that goes into our sourdough or the Organic milk from Daisy Bank Dairy, we believe that it all starts with them.

"Our team is hard at work, starting in the early hours of the morning to ensure our counter is stocked with freshly baked goods - from sourdough bread to our croissant soft serve ice cream, we'll have something for everyone.

"From 9am until 3pm, our brunch & lunch menu is available - expect the likes of Llys Meddyg smoked salmon on miso & sesame rye bread, to a seasonal vegetable minestrone or our fully Ground breakfast."
