Hare & Hounds named best pub in Wales

The Hare & Hounds has been crowned the best pub in Wales at the National Pub & Bar Awards.
The Aberthin pub was named as the local winner for South Glamorgan in July, and took the top spot in the country at yesterday's final.
A total of 15 Regional Winners were announced, as was the overall National Pub and Bar of the Year.
The Hare & Hounds beat seven other venues across Wales.
Earlier this year, the team opened a bakery , a lockdown project that was so successful they decided to make it a permanent fixture.
The bakery expansion "played a part in sealing the deal for its win this year", the award organisers said.
A thriving local watering hole, Hare & Hounds has been serving locals for over 300 years.
Alongside the bar, it offers a small, daily changing, seasonal menu using the best produce the Vale of Glamorgan has to offer.
