Patriotic Alternative leaflets campaigning to stop Drag Queen Story Hour UK were handed out in Cowbridge over the weekend.

Earlier this month, Cowbridge Nub News reported the same leaflets being distributed to households in Penarth, Bridgend and Barry.

It is not clear whether the leaflets in Cowbridge were posted through letterboxes or handed out directly to locals.

Patriotic Alternative formed in September 2019 and claims to raise awareness of the "environmental impact of mass immigration" and the "demographic decline of native Britons in the United Kingdom".

At the time of writing this article, the Patriotic Wales Twitter account has been suspended.

Sab Samuel, aka Aida H Dee, organises the Story Hour sessions for children in libraries across the UK. Sab previously told Cowbridge Nub News that the leaflets were a 'complement' and 'free advertising: "These people are fuelled by hatred towards queer culture and LGBTQ+ people – there's hatred there," he said.

"That fuelled hatred is the very reason why Drag Queen Story Hour UK exists in the first place."

Cowbridge Nub News contacted Patriotic Alternative but did not receive a response.
