Multi-Agency Coastal Call Out in Search For Missing Man

The search for Leighton Tibbott, who has been missing from his home in Bradley Stoke since Monday, was taken on by coastguards in the early hours of this morning.

Mr Tibbott's empty car was found in the Monknash area yesterday but there has been no sign of him following this discovery.

Yesterday, at 00.20 hrs, Barry Coastguard were called to assist South Wales Police with a multi-agency search for the missing man.

They were retasked again at 12.00 hrs to assist with further a search of the area with Llantwit Major Coastguard, Porthcawl Coastguard and Avon and Somerset Police.

Enquiries are now continuing with the police.
