Remembrance poppies displayed in Cowbridge ahead of Armistice Day

Poppies have been displayed in Cowbridge to commemmorate fallen soliders ahead of Armistice Day.

The trail stretches through the town centre and in the Physic Garden. The Poppy Appeal is organised in Cowbridge by the local branch of the Royal British Legion.

Each poppy recognises a member of the armed forces and their service.

Last year, amidst the firebreak lockdown, in-person collections had to be suspended and Remembrance Services had to be limited.
