The Bear Hotel offers Christmas in a box

THE BEAR Hotel has launched 'The Bear in a Box', gift packages full of Christmas food favourites.
You can order 'The Bear in a Box' for either Christmas Day alone, Christmas Day and either Christmas Eve or Boxing Day or for Christmas Eve – Boxing Day, and select items from a festive menu .
On offer is quiche, a meat and cheese platter, roast turkey with all the trimmings, Christmas pudding, mince pies, fudge, crackers, port, and champagne.
Stephanie Hobrow, of the Town and Country Collective, said the boxes could either be gifted to friends and relatives we will not see, or enjoyed at home, for a stress-free Christmas.
"If someone has to go into isolation last minute, they might not have a back-up plan for all their food, so the boxes could be a good alternative," she said. "It's all the meals you need wrapped up in a nice big box, with a nice big bow." The boxes can be ordered here and collected on either 23 or 24 December.
