The Old Hall at Cowbridge Library has become a 'Warm Space' as part of Vale of Glamorgan Council's Warm Spaces scheme.

The scheme comes under the Council's Cost of Living Support options which offers help and support for anyone struggling to pay their bills due to the rising cost of living.

These Warm Spaces are available across the Vale of Glamorgan and offer free activities, information and support for people of all ages and abilities.

A spokesperson from the council says:

"As part of our work to support residents during the cost-of-living crisis we have developed a Warm Spaces scheme.
"This is a network of community spaces that offer a warm and inviting place to come together this winter at no cost."

Information about the Cowbridge Warm Space is as follows:

Location: Cowbridge Library, Old Hall, High Street, Cowbridge, CF71 7AH

Activities:

A wide range of books, DVDs and talking books

- A children's area with books and four dedicated PCs - Local History Collection - An ICT suite with 10 computers - Free computer and Internet access with scanning and printing available - Free WiFi - Photocopier

Opening times:

Monday 10:00 - 17:00.

Tuesday 10:00 - 17:00. Wednesday 10:00 - 19:00. Thursday 10:00 - 17:00. Friday 10:00 - 17:00. Saturday 10:00 - 16:00.
