Greggs have launched their new vegan steak bake range but Cowbridge won't be receiving stock until the 16th of January.
The vegan steak bake is made up of 96 thin layers of puff pastry but is created without the egg glaze.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council has begun a programme of work to increase affordable housing provision by more than 500 Council properties built within Cowbridge and across the Vale over the next five years.
And, as part of a broader initiative to meet demand, further affordable homes are being delivered in conjunction with housing associations or as part of market developments.
Cowbridge residents are set to benefit from a temporary lift on Black Bag Restrictions over the christmas period.
The Vale council has recognised that residents will produce a lot more waste and recycling this time of year so from Monday 23 December 2019 - Friday 10 January 2020 the restriction to 2 black bags per household will not apply.

Voter turnout in the Vale of Glamorgan fell slightly in the general election that took place yesterday in comparison to that of 2007.
Out of those who were registered to vote in the constituency, 71.6% turned out to vote in 2019, which fell from the 72.6% turnout in the previous general election.
The General Election will be held tomorrow, December the 12th and we have put together a handy guide with all the information you need to vote.
You'll have been sent a poll card telling you when to vote and at which polling station. You can only vote at the polling station location on your card.

Motorists in Cowbridge and the wider Vale area are being urged to ensure their vehicles are kept secure, with all valuables removed, following a number of thefts in recent weeks.
The area has seen a spike in auto-crime, with five cars broken in to within the last week alone.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council recently marked Welsh Language Rights Day with a series events at the Civic Offices.
According to data from Understanding Welsh Places, 12.1% of people residing in Cowbridge speak Welsh and this day highlighted the importance of promoting the rights of those individuals.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council is reminding residents from Cowbridge that the deadline to have their say on how services are delivered across the County is fast approaching.
On Friday, December 20, the consultation will have ended and movements will be made to finalise the proposals.
