The next Cowbridge U3A History Group Meeting will be held in the Lesser Hall Cowbridge at 10am on Thursday, 19 September.

The talk will be on "The story of British Hats" presented by Geoffrey Flanders (group member).

Mr Flanders started work in 1950 with Dunn & Co. Hatters. Dunn & Co. was founded in 1887 by George Arthur Dunn, a Quaker who started selling hats on the streets of Birmingham.

The company went on to become the most recognised chain of British men's hatters throughout the first three quarters of the 20^th century.

Visitors are welcome on payment of a small charge, £2.
