The next Cowbridge u3a History Group Meeting will be held in the Lesser Hall, Cowbridge at 10am on Thursday, 16 May.

It will be a talk on "Warrior Women in Antiquity" by Dr Eve MacDonald, Senior Lecturer in Ancient History at the School of History, Archaeology and Religion, Cardiff University.  

Dr Eve MacDonald has travelled and worked widely across the Mediterranean and the near east. She has a particular expertise in the social history and archaeology of the area. Previously, Dr MacDonald has worked on the history and archaeology of Carthage. 

Visitors are welcome on payment of a small charge, £2.
