If a picture paints a thousand words, can you tell the tale of 2021 in images?

This is the question Cowbridge Rotary Club is asking residents as it launches its charity calendar competition for a second year in a row.

This time, the club are looking for the best snaps of views in Cowbridge and the surrounding area. The club has specified this year not to submit photographs of children or pets to the competition.

A £50 prize is offered for the overall winner with the best twelve entries going into the 2022 calender that will be on sale in December.

The deadline for entries is 31 October. Cowbridge Rotary Club fundraises for international causes such as eradicating polio, but also supports local charities, schools and social events.

Last year the club sold over 200 copies of its calendar, which showcased 'life in lockdown', 'on the coast', 'creative bakes' and 'our countryside'.
