Vale Makers are busy planning four Makers' Markets this autumn.

The first two will be in the Old Hall, Cowbridge, on October 8th and November 5th, followed by a visit to Penarth Pier Pavilion on November 20th, before returning to the Old Hall on December 3rd.

The markets will include handmade, artisan goods including ceramics, glassware, jewellery, woodwork and more all from independent makers.

It was formed to promote and showcase the work of independent makers through organising events such as Makers Markets, an annual Craft Festival, and also as a support network for craftspeople working in rural communities.

Frances Lloyd from Vale Makers says:

"There will be a range of stalls to browse from glassware and ceramics to textiles and woodwork, showcasing the skill and creativity of our members in the rural Vale.
"The unique and beautiful pieces on display make excellent gifts or focal points for your home, and with each purchase you will be supporting a small local business.
"For beautiful crafts and gifts, plus a pop up café, please call in and see us.
"We hope to see you soon!"
