Cowbridge: Boris Johnson should resign, says Vale of Glamorgan Conservatives chairman

The chairman of the Vale of Glamorgan Conservatives has said Prime Minister Boris Johnson needs to resign.  

Leighton Rowlands made the comment to Nub News this afternoon (July 6) after more than 30 ministers and other members of the government have stepped down.  

Mr Rowlands said: "With everything going on, I think it's time for the PM to resign for the good of the party and for the country." 

No comment has been made by the MP for the Vale of Glamorgan, Alun Cairns
