Cowbridge residents have one week to submit feedback on a proposal for new homes to be built in the town.

Redrow Homes (South Wales) Ltd is working on a planning application to build 105 properties at the greenfield site west of Windmill Lane.

To abide by council rules, 40% of these homes will be allocated for affordable housing. Plans also include drainage and associated highway infrastructure, a children's play area and landscaping.

In addition, upgraded car access from St Athan Road and improved pedestrian and cycling highways have been outlined in the proposal.

If approved by the Vale of Glamorgan Council, the ten-acre housing development will be ready at some time in 2023.

The deadline for local resident feedback is next Friday (July 15).
