Our weekly property column features the most interesting homes currently on the market right now on our Cowbridge Nub News Property page.
The 'Property of the Week' we bring you in Cowbridge today is in fact not one, nor two, but three properties for sale in the centre of town, courtesy of the same team responsible for the stunning Plan Dorlan development.
On the market for £339,950 with Harris & Birt, two of the apartments – Domus One and Domus Two – respectively occupy the first and ground floor of the former Wesleyan Chapel. Each comprises two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Domus Three, while also being a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment, is a brand new two storey building attached to the rear of the old chapel.
Each of the three properties is self-contained, with individual external entrances and no common internal areas.
To the rear, each property will have its own private garden and parking space with rear lane access.
Cowbridge History Society has fascinating history on the site of the development. Around 1850 the Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was erected, before which the site is believed to have medieval origins. By 1889 the chapel was too small for the congregation, prompting the sale of the building for £280 to fund the build of a larger Chapel across the road.
75 Eastgate is conveniently located within short level walking distance of Cowbridge town centre and its excellent facilities.
Included in such facilities is schooling of excellent reputation for all ages, sporting and recreational facilities and a wide range of local shops as well as national shops such as Waitrose.
